All steno practice drills are recorded on CDs in the MP3 format. Most CDs contain the entire range of speeds. This means that they are recorded at 20, 40, 60 wpm, etc., up to very high speed. A few practice drills CDs require you to choose a speed range. If the CD that you select does not ask you to choose a speed, then you get the full range from 20 wpm up to very high speed. We record them as high as possible. If you want drills in the mid-200s and higher, please look first at the Tutor Ring CDs and the No Frills Drills CDs.

These phrases contain words that are generally larger than the ones on Top Phrases CD 1. For example, this CD contains phrases such as "preponderance of the evidence," "assistant district attorney," "police station," etc. The speed range of the drills is from 20 to 160 wpm. The 160 wpm drills are among the fastest drills we have ever recorded. The syllabic density is extremely high because generally these phrases contain larger words the Top Phrases CD 1. These drills can be very challenging. |
